As noted earlier, John “Bradshaw” Layfield, Jim Ross and Cameron are all backstage at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts, the site of WWE’s annual Night of Champions pay-per-view event.

As reported this morning, Layfield reached an agreement with WWE to commentate tonight’s pay-per-view event as well as tomorrow night’s RAW broadcast in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He is replacing Jerry “The King” Lawler, who continues to recover from a heart attack suffered at the announce booth last Monday on RAW. He will be calling the show with Michael Cole. Jerry Lawler confirmed this earlier today, tweeting the following: “Sorry I can’t be at Night Of Champions tonight, but I understand JBL will be taking my place. I wish him the best of luck! I also want to thank the thousands of fans and friends for the outpouring of well wishes and concern for me. I love the WWE Universe!”

Jim Ross is in Boston for non-announcing related business. He often attends pay-per-view events to assist WWE behind-the-scenes.

Cameron, whose real name is Arianne Andrew, just finished serving a 15-day suspension the company issued in light of her arrest for driving under the influence on Aug. 24 in N. Hillsborough County, Florida. WWE officials were reportedly displeased that Andrew did not notify of them of her arrest, instead finding out about it online.

Former WWE Women’s Champion Lita is also backstage at the event. She often attends events since WWE Champion CM Punk is her boyfriend.
