As Andy reported earlier here on eWrestlingNews.com, John Cena underwent successful surgery in Birmingham, AL on Thursday. WWE.com posted some photos and an article regarding the surgery.
Cena suffered a shoulder injury (believed to be a torn rotator cuff) while training. As a result, he will miss the WWE Royal Rumble and WrestleMania 32 pay-per-view events as his recovery time is expected to be between six and nine months. Of course, this is Cena so who knows if he’ll be able to return sooner.
