More On Three-Hour RAW Issues, RAW Notes, Batista

— While WWE claims that the switch to three-hours for RAW is permanent, people within the company believe that the show will be back to two-hours before the end of the year – whether the first hour be dropped or moved to the WWE Network as a recap or pre-show going into the 9pm timeslot. It’s important to note that permanently moving RAW up would dramatically affect any West coast tapings. For example, shows in Los Angeles would have to start at 4:30pm on a work day. A lot of people in the company have privately expressed dread at the move to three-hours.

— Former WCW star “Dirty” Dick Slater turned 61 years old yesterday while former WCW Cruiserweight Champion Psicosis turned 41. Also, yesterday would have been the 66th birthday of WWE Hall of Famer Andre The Giant.

— Matches advertised for the July 21st WWE RAW live event in North Little Rock, Arkansas include CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan in a Submission Match for the WWE Title, Lord Tensai vs. John Cena and David Otunga vs. Santino Marella for the United States Title.

— SBSun.com has an article up looking at the 21st annual Redlands Optimist Car Show in Redlands, California this past weekend. Tomas Vazquez, president of the Imperials car club, was a friend of the late Eddie Guerrero and has a 1964 Impala Supersport on display. The car is owned by former WWE star Batista, who rebuilt the Impala and planned on presenting it to Guerrero as a gift before his death. The Impala has a large mural of Guerrero on the trunk.
