UPDATE: Both Mojo Rawley and Bayley are backstage for WWE Battleground. It’s unknown what role Mojo will play, if any. Bayley has been rumored as the mystery partner for Sasha Banks for some time now. We reported earlier today that Bayley would be making her main roster debut tonight.
Finn Balor, who was recently drafted to the RAW roster, is not currently backstage at this time.
ORIGINAL: As previously reported here on eWN, Charlotte and Dana Brooke challenged Sasha Banks to tag team match at the Battleground PPV and told Banks that she would have to find a partner.
As Andy noted earlier, former NXT Women’s Champion Bayley, who was not drafted to the main roster in the WWE Draft, will be Banks’ partner in the match.
Also, Lita will no longer be working as an agent and producer in WWE as of this week. Instead, she will be a full-time panelist for WWE Network pre-shows.
She will be joined on the programs by Booker T, Jerry Lawler and Scott Stanford. The lineup has been changed due to the WWE draft, which featured regular panelist Corey Graves becoming an announcer for RAW. There’s no word on if anyone will take over Lita’s previous responsibilities, but there’s been talk of trainers and coaches from NXT getting called up to work with the main roster.
