The entire script for last night’s RAW was rewritten at 3:00PM (ET) on Monday.
Regarding the creative for last night’s RAW, it had been noted backstage that a lot of the lines that Triple H and Stephanie McMahon were something that Vince McMahon would’ve said. There was a feeling that Vince took the original script, tore it up, and rewrote it. The belief was that the promos from The Authority were Vince’s idea, and they were executing it, and not the voice of The Authority.
There were plenty of people backstage who were not happy with the show. The feeling was that Dolph Ziggler, Ryback and Erick Rowan were left in a very bad spot with the “firing” storyline, particularly Ziggler, of whom many within the WWE was in the middle of a big push.
