During yesterday’s New Japan Pro Wrestling event at Korakuen Hall, the company announced that Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Kenny Omega for the vacant IWGP Intercontinental title will take place at the NJPW “The New Beginning” event. The belt is now vacant as Nakamura is headed to WWE NXT and was forced to drop the title before leaving.
Also announced during the same event yesterday was that several ROH stars will be working the NJPW Honor Rising shows on February 19th and 20th. The ROH names announced include: Jay Lethal, The Briscoes, Adam Cole, ReDRagon, Moose, Roderick Strong, Michael Elgin, Dalton Castle, and Delirious. The events will be held at Korakuen Hall.
