Nikki Cross On The First WWE Show She Ever Watched:

“I was about 10 and shared a room with my sister and she put on WWE Fully Loaded in 2000. I think the first match on the card was The Hardy Boys and Lita vs. Trish Stratus, Test and Albert in an inter-gender match. After like three minutes, I was entranced. I just loved it, it was so much fun. There was a steel cage match and it had Chris Jericho vs. Triple H in a Last Man Standing match, they had Undertaker vs. Kurt Angle and The Rock defending his championship, was just entranced by all of it. We didn’t have Sky, but we had terrestrial TV and for that time, they would show WWE events and I would stay up throughout my teenage years and I would watch that. When I was 18, I decided to go and attend a wrestling school. I Googled Scottish wrestling academies and there was one near me, the Scottish Wrestling Alliance.”

Her Ultimate Goal In Wrestling:

“My goal was always to be in WWE, that was my dream, that’s where I wanted to be when I first started. My first thought was to see if I was any good at it, feel it and see if this is something I wanted to do. From that very first training session, something just clicked in my brain; this is what I’m meant to do. When I was in the independent scene, my goal was to be the best I could be, the most versatile as I can be, I wanted to fill any role that was required.”Â
