-- Christian was interviewed by WWE Magazine where he talked about his future with the company. He said: "My work here isn't done by any stretch of the imagination. Even though I'm a veteran, I still have a lot to strive for and a lot to work for. I haven't gotten a lot of things, or done some of the things that I feel I need to do yet." He also commented on what kind of entrance he would like to have at a future Wrestlemania. He said: "Nobody's come to the ring in a helicopter yet. I'd love to do that."

-- Arda Ocal of The Score talked with "Rowdy" Roddy Piper on the set of Piper's Pit where they talked about Piper having one more match as well as the future of his son Colt Toombs.

Toombs talked first about his amateur MMA career. He said: "Pro wrestling was my first love and it was what I watched growing up with him, but as soon as I could walk, he's (Piper) has had me in martial arts. After high school, I had the opportunity to train some MMA and I had a couple of amateur fights. I really loved it and I just kept going with it. Due to the martial arts that he put me in, I was kind of good at it and it kind of just fell into place."

He also mentioned a move to professional wrestling. He added: "I've watched it growing up. I absolutely love it and I would definitely give it a try. I just haven't quite gotten there yet."

Meanwhile, Piper mentioned how he would react to a wrestling debut for Toombs. He said: "Do I train him or do I let him go and get trained on his own? I don't know the answer to that. I'm not going to lead him astray and say ‘you're doing great' when really you should go get a job. You can be a good MMA guy and a lousy wrestler. There is something that's got to come out of you special. That scares me (training Toombs)."

Finally, Piper talked about his desire for one more match. He added: "I want one more fight for my career. I thought I would just fight the champion. I could get in shape one more time for one more good one. But doing a tag team, his (Toombs) first fight and my last, I'd consider that."
