— CM Punk is not advertised for any house show events following WrestleMania 29 including the upcoming European tour that begins on 4/17 in the Netherlands. Punk also isn’t advertised for events in May including the Extreme Rules PPV on 5/19. It would seem WWE will be giving him some time off to heal up some nagging injuries. WWE sources are denying he is suffering from any kind of an injury at the moment although he hasn’t been working live events heading into WrestleMania.

— Chris Jericho discussed how a variety of different ideas were thrown at him for WrestleMania 29 this year during a recent appearance on Observer Radio. Jericho noted that the original plan was for him to work with Ryback when he left for Australia. When he returned, he was told plans had changed and he was instead going to be working with Fandango. Jericho used to compete on Dancing with the Stars and Fandango’s current gimmick is a spoof of Dancing with the Stars and their “ballroom dancing”. Jericho admitted he wasn’t happy at first, but is now excited about working with him. Jericho is scheduled to take time off after WrestleMania for some more touring with Fozzy from 4/13 to 4/28. He also said he negotiated his new WWE deal this time with Triple H and not Vince McMahon.
