WWE women’s wrestler Paige was taken into custody and then taken to a hospital following the WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view on Sunday night. She was hospitalized “under police detention”. Pro Wrestling Sheet has confirmed that Paige was taken to the hospital after local police were flagged down outside of Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, NV due to reports of a woman who was seen running into the streets. She appeared to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol according to police.
Police responded to the scene and caught up with and detained the woman — who sources say was Paige. Law enforcement was unable to identify her due to HIPAA laws. The officers determined that she needed to go to the hospital for “undisclosed reasons.”
Paige is obviously no longer under police custody or at the hospital as she worked a WWE Women’s Title match against Charlotte during RAW. It appears that WWE isn’t punishing her either as they wouldn’t have had her work RAW, especially in a title match.
