For weeks on WWE TV, there has been teasing of a “Shield” reunion between Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins. The most recent meeting between the two saw them defeat The Miztourage on Monday Night RAW.
According to Billi Bhatti of the Dirty Sheets Podcast & SportsKeeda, the current plan as of right now for Ambrose & Rollins is to have them challenge Sheamus & Cesaro for the RAW Tag-Team Championships at SummerSlam. The original plan was to have Ambrose vs. Rollins vs. The Miz in a Triple-Threat for the Intercontinental Championship however, the decision was made to continue on with the “Shield” reunion.
It is also to be noted that there was heat backstage on Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose for their moment on RAW. It is being reported by Billi Bhatti of the Dirty Sheets podcast that Triple H was not happy about the Rollins extending his fist out to Dean Ambrose because it possibly ruined the “Shield” reunion moment possibly taking place at SummerSlam.
