More On The Ratings For Tuesday Night’s WWE SmackDown Live! Broadcast

As Andy noted yesterday here on eWrestlingNews.com, the ratings for Tuesday night’s WWE SmackDown Live! broadcast dropped this week. The ratings for the show were the lowest they’ve been in five weeks. Tuesday night’s broadcast did a 0.86 rating in the all important 18 – 49 demographic, with 2.556 million viewers. Those numbers were down 9% and 8% from the previous week’s 0.95 demo rating, with 2.792 million viewers. The numbers represent the lowest ratings for SmackDown Live! since the January 24th broadcast brought in identical scores in both metrics.

It should be noted that President Trump’s address to Congress, which took the top six spots on the cable originals rankings and dominated the night on the broadcast networks, was likely a main factor in the ratings drop for WWE SmackDown Live!. All of the major networks aired Trump’s address so it wound up drawing massive ratings.

Due to Trump’s address, WWE SmackDown ranked #7 for the night.
