According to sources, there may be a class action lawsuit brewing against WWE as many former WWE talents are not happy that they are not being paid royalties from the WWE Network. Multiple former WWE talents have learned about the lawsuit and have shown interest in being involved. The claim among those likely to file is that the WWE Network has taken the place of the home video market, which caused the revenue from DVDs and Blu-rays to drop. They think wrestlers should get revenue from the replacement.

As previously reported here on eWrestlingNews.com, the families of Doug Somers and Eddie Gilbert tried to get royalties from clips shown on regular WWE TV and failed. The Wrestling Observer claims that this situation is different. We hope to have more shortly.

Mike “Simon Dean” Bucci posted the following on his Facebook account last night:

The Class Action lawsuit for the royalties not being paid for talent appearances on the WWE Network will dwarf the concussion suit. This one is going to make waves…it should be interesting. .
