AAW announced their “AAW: Showdown” event on Thursday. AAW: Showdown takes place at 115 Bourbon Street (3359 W 115th Street Merrionette Park, IL), with the first four rows already sold out.

Former WWE, TNA and ECW Superstar Rob Van Dam has launched an official GoFundMe account to help raise money for former ECW Superstar Sabu. The GoFundMe account is located at this link. According to RVD, Sabu needs to get surgery on his hip. The funding is for pre-op procedures, the surgery itself and post-op requirements, including physical therapy. Sabu has been dealing with the issues for nearly a year now, and has already spent several thousand dollars on consultations, x-rays, injections and other medical attention to help his hip without undergoing surgery. The page has only been up for two days and has raised $3,885 of the $50,000 goal. This is as of 12:25AM on Friday morning.
