Tyson Fury is the perfect fit to be the next breakout Superstar of WWE, according to Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
Fury, who recently retired from boxing, has appeared for WWE in recent years, with his sole match being a count-out win over Braun Strowman at Crown Jewel 2019.
At the 2022 WWE Clash at the Castle pay-per-view event, Fury prevented Austin Theory from cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase, and closed the show with a song alongside Drew McIntyre.
In an interview of Michelle Joy Phelps of Behind The Gloves, the Undisputed Champion spoke about the ‘Gypsy King.’ He said,
“I think he is 100 percent built for what we do. He’s a sportsman, he’s a showman, he’s a great entertainer. He has a deep, you know, a great experience of what it takes to be that guy, to be in that position.
“So I think it’s just only a matter of time and obviously on what he wants to do. So I think it’d be a perfect fit for sure.”
Fury and McIntyre have teased facing off against each other for years, though a match between the two men is yet to happen.
