Prowrestlingsheet.com posted an article noting that former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey attended Saturday night’s PWG All-Star Weekend event instead of the big UFC pay-per-view event. Several photos of Rousey and her boyfriend at the event have surfaced online. Also on Saturday night in Las Vegas, NV, Rousey’s old rival Miesha Tate submitted Holly Holm to win the UFC title in the co-main event of UFC 196.
The photos posted of Rousey at the PWG event were reportedly taken just moments after Tate defeated Holm at UFC 196. Rousey looks like she’s checking her phone while Trevor Lee and Drew Galloway are in the middle of a match.
UFC President Dana White told FOX Sports 1 after the pay-per-view that he sent a text to Ronda Rousey to tell her that Tate submitted Holm. White said Ronda texted him back with “Back to work for me.”
