The Hillsboro Times recently interviewed “Rowdy”
Roddy Piper on why he lives in the area (Oregon), his long
career and more. When asked if he was retired, he said: “In my head,
no. But I’ll be honest with you. Those boys are so big and strong now. It would
be a dumb move for me to get back in there.”
He also spoke about his health right now. He added: “Some
things, you can’t fix. My shoulder needs to be replaced. It’s just, “Ouch.” But
I’ve had over 7,000 pro fights.”
