Thanks to Ranjit Chahal of WrestlingRevealed.com for his help with some of the following newsbits:

— Rafael Morfii was a key player for WWE when it came to their live events. However, he was let go by the company when Triple H and Stephanie McMahon gained more power backstage. Since he was highly regarded by people that worked with him in WWE, it was easy for Morfii to get picked up by TNA, where he will be heavily involved in the live events for the company as we noted earlier here on the website.

— One of the ideas being tossed around right now is for The Undertaker to team up with Daniel Bryan and Kane to go up against Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose at the Extreme Rules pay per view. WWE is concerned about the potential buyrate for the show since CM Punk is still taking his break and Ryback has not been generating the reaction they were hoping for. As of now, The Undertaker is not expected to appear at the Extreme Rues pay-per-view but that could easily change.

— WWE has waited for a couple of weeks now for the final WrestleMania 29 tally. They’ve been wanting to see if it was able to break the record for highest grossing event in company history. The Rock apparently found out and he let the cat out of the bag through Twitter. The event managed to top the previous mark, and Rock said it was an honor to headline the show. The Rock tweeted:

“Record is set: WRESTLEMANIA 29 is the highest grossing event in WWE history. Was my honor to be the main event & @WWE Champion. THANK YOU!!”
