As noted, SmackDown Commissioner Shane McMahon, son of WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, had a wild Wednesday morning, to say the least after he was involved in a helicopter crash in Babylon, Long Island.

A small helicopter with McMahon and the pilot made a crash landing in the waters off of Gilgo Beach, which is near the Atlantic Ocean.

According to the report that has been filed, the Robinson R 44 helicopter landed on its pontoon skids just before 10:30 AM EST this morning. This led to emergency responders picking up the men who were aboard and ferried them to shore safely. They were wearing life jackets and uninjured.

NYPD Aviation and SCUBA units also responded and assisted in the rescue. The chopper departed from the Westchester County Airport, and at some point, a commercial flight heading to Kennedy Airport heard the call. They relayed it to controllers at the FAA radar facility in Westbury. The helicopter is registered to ‘Awesome Flight LLC’ of White Plains.

McMahon has since taken to Twitter comment on the crash:
