WWE taped tonight’s edition of SmackDown on Tuesday from Norfolk, VA at the Norfolk Scope Arena. Here are the spoilers for tonight’s WWE SmackDown broadcast.
– Roman Reigns made his way down to the ring to open SmackDown. He talked about Sunday’s Payback PPV and how he lost, but at MITB, he would make up for that loss. Dean Ambrose comes down to the ring and they talk about Payback. Kane interrupts, he said Reigns is a loser and doesn’t deserve a title shot. He gives Reigns the night off, but books Ambrose against Bray Wyatt tonight.
– 4 Way Tag Team match: Lucha Dragons defeated The Ascension, Prime Time Players and Los Matadores.
– Lana and Dolph Ziggler are seen flirting backstage with each other.
– Singles match: Dolph Ziggler (with Lana) defeated King Barrett.
– Paige is in the ring and cuts a promo about how this is her house. She said that he is the #1 contender for the Divas Championship. Naomi and Tamina Snuka walk down to the ring. They argue and then attack Paige. Nikki Bella ran down to the ring to make the save.
– Bray Wyatt cuts a promo backstage.
– Singles match: R-Truth defeated Stardust.
– Ryback cuts a promo backstage about being the next Intercontinental Champion.
– Tag Team match: The Meta Powers defeated Adam Rose and Heath Slater.
– Singles match: Dean Ambrose defeated Bray Wyatt with Dirty Deeds. During the match, J&J Security with Seth Rollins walk down to the ring, but Roman Reigns made his way down to the ring as well and fought them off. Seth Rollins treated to the stage when Ambrose hit his finisher on Wyatt. SmackDown ends with Ambrose staring down Rollins from the ramp.
