WWE taped tonight’s edition of SmackDown on Tuesday from Evansville, IN at The Ford Center. Here are the spoilers for tonight’s WWE SmackDown broadcast.
– Dean Ambrose walks down to the ring to open Smackdown and begins to cut a promo about his upcoming WWE Title match at the Payback PPV this Sunday. Roman Reigns made his way down to the ring and they exchanged promos. Kane makes his way to the stage and books Ambrose in our opening contest against Sheamus.
– Singles match: Dean Ambrose defeated Sheamus with a quick roll up.
– Kane booked Seth Rollins vs. Ryback as our main event.
– Rusev with Lana cut a promo about John Cena and their upcoming “I-Quit” match at the Payback PPV.
– Seth Rollins cut a promo about his upcoming title defense at the Payback PPV. Ryback makes his way down to the ring for his match with Rollins, but during his entrance is attacked by Bray Wyatt. After the beating, Ryback continues to make his way down to the ring and demands his match with Rollins.
– Singles match: Seth Rollins defeated Ryback.
– Naomi with Tamina Snuka cut a promo on the Bella Twins backstage.
– Singles match: Tyson Kidd defeated Kofi Kingston with the Sharpshooter.
– Bo Dallas cut a promo about Daniel Bryan during his entrance.
– Singles match: Neville defeated Bo Dallas with the Red Arrow. King Barrett was on commentary for this match.
– Main Event: Roman Reigns defeated Kane with a spear. Reigns then celebrated in the ring to close the show.
