WWE held a Cruiserweight Classic TV taping on Friday night in Winter Park, FL at Full Sail University and the quarter-final matches took place at the taping.
Zack Sabre Jr. defeated Noam Dar, Gran Metalik defeated Akira Tozawa, TJ Perkins defeated Rich Swann, and Kota Ibushi defeated Brian Kendrick at the taping to advance in the tournament. WWE will air the semi-finals and finals of the tournament on the WWE Network on September 14th.
