The opinion on CM Punk in WWE continues to change. At first, everyone thought that Vince McMahon would take care of it and it would be resolved sooner rather than latrer. Now the general opinion is growing more negative.
Many feel like WWE made CM Punk a lot of money and he just left. It seems that most backstage have grown resentful of Punk.
Judging by numerous comments on this website, the majority of WWE fans are ticked off as well and feel CM Punk is being a baby. When Punk first walked about and many expected him to take time off and then return, they were all for it. That seems to have changed now though as many fans are finally realizing that the whole thing is not a “work” and he’s simply not coming back anytime soon.
For what it’s worth, Punk has told people close to him that he has absolutely no plans to return to WWE. It’ll be interesting to see what he does when his WWE contract expires in several months.
