— The word backstage at RAW is that John Cena has a “50/50” chance at being healthy enough to work the WWE Hell in a Cell pay-per-view on October 28th. That’s part of the reason they’re keeping Ryback in the mix with CM Punk. One scenario that was talked about was for Cena to wrestle at Hell in a Cell and then take additional time off to allow his elbow more time to heal. They’d likely do an injury angle of sorts but that is not confirmed. The other option would be to have someone else step up and replace Cena. Believe it or not, Mick Foley’s name was brought up at RAW but that seems to be a long shot. A final decision will be made within the next week or so.

— Speaking of John Cena, he is being advertised for next week’s RAW in Sacramento, CA. Following that, Cena is advertised for a WWE Supershow in Jonesboro, Arkansas on October 12 and WWE RAW live events after that date. Of course, this is just from local advertising and could easily change.

— Amazon.com has released a new cover for WWE’s Night of Champions DVD. The new cover features CM Punk standing over John Cena to end the pay-per-view. The DVD will hit stores on October 16th.
