Here are the latest updates on Randy Orton.
Orton reportedly learned that he wouldn’t need surgery on his neck last week. There had been some concern that he would need it while they waited for the MRI results to come back in. As of now, he’s currently out of action after recent shoulder surgery.
It was reported back in November that Orton would likely need neck surgery and Ric Flair said the same on his podcast. That was the fear backstage but Orton got the good news just last week. Once Orton found out he wouldn’t need the neck surgery, he took to Instagram to deny the reports and acted like it was never even a possibility. That is simply not the case.
Orton’s status for WrestleMania 32 is still up in the air but WWE officials are hopeful he’ll be able to return between mid-March and May.
