The latest news on The Young Bucks to WWE

Way back in August of 2011, we posted a story regarding some
issues between The Young Bucks and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T. Basically, The
Young Bucks were backstage at a RAW TV taping to receive WWE tryouts. Prior to
the tryouts, The Young Bucks were backstage during the day and rubbed Booker T
the wrong way as they reportedly turned their backs to him and didn’t “shake his
hand.” Booker felt that it was a disrespectful thing to do as they were there
for tryouts and failed to respect a “locker-room leader”.

Rob Van Dam later came out and bashed the
tag-team as well as he felt they were disrespectful to numerous guys on the WWE
roster at the time. They also didn’t shake his hand. Basically, it’s common
knowledge that if you’re a “newbie” within WWE, you go up to the current talents
and introduce yourself, shake their hands and thank them for having you there.
That goes for any job to be honest. If you’re the “new guy in town”, you go out
of your way to respect and introduce yourself to the guys that were there before
you.

Anyways, The Young Bucks never got a job with WWE and went on to
achieve success on the indy scene and overseas in Japan. The duo have been
posting teasers as of late that they may be WWE bound. Several days ago, the two
posted Coca-Cola bottles featuring their names on the
label next to toy WWE Tag Team Title belts (see the original report
below).

They then continued with the following
tweets:

“It’s pretty ironic we’ve lost
the PWG, ROH, and IWGP Tag championships in a matter of a month…..”

“I wonder where our careers will take us
nxt?”

Following their loss to The Hardy Boyz at Saturday night’s Northeast Wrestling event, they tweeted the following photo.
Booker T was at the same Northeast Wrestling event and the photo below was taken
there:
