TAMPA, Fla. — Raymond Leppan (a.k.a. WWE Superstar Adam Rose) was arrested at his home this morning by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office in Tampa, Fla.

According to a police report, Leppan was taken into custody and booked on alleged charges of tampering with a witness, a felony, and battery domestic violence, a misdemeanor. He is currently being held without bond.

ORIGINAL: TMZ.com is reporting that Adam Rose (Ray Leppan) appeared in court on Thursday morning. As previously reported here on eWrestlingNews.com, Rose was arrested on Wednesday on charges of tampering with a witness and battery domestic violence. Although he’s already serving a 60-day WWE Wellness Policy suspension, he was once again suspended indefinitely by WWE.

During his court hearing, the judge wanted to issue a restraining order against Leppan, barring him from contact with his wife, who was in court to support him. The judge was notified by prosecutors that the couple had a previous domestic incident in March of 2016. The judge was concerned about a pattern of abusive behavior, with the last case taking place less than two months ago. Leppan’s wife begged the judge to reconsider, saying she needed him to be home to help with the care of their special needs child. She said it was a “one-time” incident after a very stressful time in their lives, Rose’s lawyer also argued Leppan’s actions were “not aggressive or painful” but rather “more of a passionate, ‘Hey, let’s talk about this.’”

The judge agreed that no restraining order would be issued, and bond was set at $1,000. Leppan has been ordered to see his pastor for counseling once a week until his next court date in June.
