The Rating For Monday Night’s Post-WWE SummerSlam RAW Broadcast Is In – Details Inside

Monday night’s episode of RAW stayed steady in the ratings, although viewership inched downward. The episode drew 3.721 million viewers and a 1.30 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic. Those numbers are down 1% and steady with last week’s 3.777 million viewers and 1.30 demo rating.

The steadiness of the numbers is a touch eye-raising, considering it was just after a PPV which traditionally results in a viewer bounce (for example, the Raw after Battleground jumped 8% and 9% in viewers and rating). As a mitigating factor though, it was up against an NFL pre-season game between Cincinnati and Tampa Bay which scored second place with a 1.6 demo rating and 4.202 million viewers, where last week’s didn’t have that competition. Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta won the night among cable originals with 3.324 million viewers and a 1.66 demo rating.

The good news for WWE is that the rating rose steadily throughout the night, so the show didn’t lose its viewer interest. The hourly numbers are below:

8 PM: 3.606 million viewers (1.20 demo rating)
9 PM: 3.794 million viewers (1.29 demo rating)
10 PM: 3.764 million viewers (1.42 demo rating)
