Dave Meltzer mentioned on the latest episode of the Wrestling Observer radio that the reason WWE is bringing back the Elimination Chamber event is because they want people, who signed up for the free month of May, to either be charged or renew their WWE subscription to the network for the month of June.
Also, to increase the subscription numbers to the WWE Network. WWE feels that they can continue to increase numbers by giving the network away for free on a monthly bases.
The WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event takes place on Sunday, May 31st from Corpus Christi, Texas at the American Bank Center.
The event will air exclusively on the WWE Network and is the sixth of thirteen WWE pay-per-views in 2015.
