This Week’s RAW Rating Is In, Pillman Remembered, More

— Monday night’s episode of RAW did a 3.04 (3.0) cable rating, with 4.46 million viewers. That number is up a full tenth of a point from last week’s 2.94 (2.9) but down in overall viewers by 1%. The show did hours of 3.08 (3.1) and 2.99 (3.0). That translates to 4.17 million and 4.14 million viewers. The show’s biggest competition was the Oklahoma Thunder/L.A. Lakers playoff game which doubled RAW’s numbers.

— The 5/19 edition of AM RAW did a 0.49 (0.5) cable rating, with 545,000 viewers.

— Luke Gallows is set to compete for NOAH for the first time. Gallows has been announced by the promotion for a tour from June 3rd through the 13th. Roderick Strong will also be on the tour.

— WWE returns to the PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina for a Raw live event on December 30. A Ticketmaster.com pre-sale is ongoing through May 25 at 10:00 p.m. The password is WWE.

— As noted earlier, today would have marked as Brian Pillman’s fiftieth birthday. A previously undetected heart condition, arteriosclerotic heart disease, led to his death on October 5, 1997.

Smith Hart remembered the late wrestler via Twitter, writing, “Happy Bday to Brian Pillman. You are a brother in every sense to all of my siblings and are missed today more than you know. God Bless you.”
