The New York Post is reporting that there are rumors that media mogul John de Mol is interested in purchasing WWE. De Mol’s company, Talpa Beheer, has a 6% stock in WWE. WWE issued the following statement regarding the rumors:
“WWE, controlled by founder and Chief Executive Officer Vince McMahon through Class B shares, isn’t in any discussions about a potential sale.”
