The rating for Thursday night’s WWE SmackDown broadcast is in and the show dropped to its lowest point since moving to USA Network. It should be noted that SmackDown went head-to-head with the NFL draft this week.
Thursday night’s WWE SmackDown broadcast drew 2.109 million viewers, with a 0.64 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic. Those numbers are down 13% and 12% from last week’s 2.431 million and 0.73 demo rating. The numbers also represent the lowest non-holiday viewership since the December 3rd episode on SyFy drew 2.044 million viewers.
WWE SmackDown ranked at #7 among cable originals for the night, trailing the NFL draft, the post-draft SportsCenter, the NFL Network’s draft coverage, 60 Days In on A&E, a pre-draft ESPN special and the NBA playoff game on TNT.
