During Saturday night’s TNA iMPACT! Wrestling TV tapings, it was announced that the “King of the Mountain” title is no more. During the TV tapings. current TNA World & X-Division Champion Bobby Lashley unified the belt with his TNA World Heavyweight Championship.
TNA has also introduced a new title, called the TNA Grand Championship. The new title will have specific rules for its matches. The matches will be three times matches/rounds, with judges in place awarding points if the match goes the distance. The company will hold an eight-man, single elimination tournament to crown the new champion.
