1992: Steve Austin defeated Barry Windham to win the WCW Television Title.

1993: WCW Slamboree: A Legend’s Reunion was held at the Omni, in Atlanta, Georgia. 7,000 were in attendance to see Davey Boy Smith defeated Big Van Vader via DQ (Vader retains the WCW World Title) in the main event.

1999: WWF Over The Edge was held at the Kemper Arena, in Kansas City, Missouri. 16,472 were in attendance, this is of course the event that Owen Hart fell from the ceiling and fell to his death. He was 34 years old at the time.

2000: Kevin Nash defeated Jeff Jarrett, & Scott Steiner in a Triple Threat Match to win the WCW World Title on Thunder.

2007: Jill Jarrett, who was the wife of Jeff Jarrett unfortunately  passed away on this day due to cancer. 

2010: WWE Over The Limit was held at Joe Lois Arena, in Detroit, Michigan. This was the first event with 11,000 fans in attendance to see John Cena defeated Batista in an I Quit Match to retain the WWE Title in the main event.

2011: The New Nexus (David Otunga & Michael McGillicutty) defeated Kane & The Big Show to win the WWE Tag Team Titles.
