1989: NWA WrestleWar: Music City Showdown was a WCW event promoted under the
NWA banner and held in at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium, in
Nashville,Tennessee. 5,200 were in attendance to see Eddie Gilbert &
Rick Steiner defeated The Varsity Club to retain the NWA United States
Tag Team Titles.
2000: WCW Slamboree was held at Kemper Arena, in
Kansas City, Missouri. This was the final Slamboree event and there was
7,165 in attendance to see Jeff Jarrett defeated David Arquette &
Diamond Dallas Page in a Ready to Rumble Cage Match to win the WCW World
Title.
