— The NWA sent out the following…

National Wrestling Alliance Vice President Chris Ronquillo announced on Sunday July 14 via Smart Mark Radio that reigning IWGP Tag Team Champions Satoshi Kojima and Hiroyoshi Tenzan will appear at NWA events in Texas this coming October. The New Japan Pro Wrestling stars are currently scheduled to appear at an NWA Houston event on October 18 and the following night for NWA Branded Outlaw Wrestling in San Antonio on October 19. The appearances serve to further the relationship between the NWA and New Japan Pro Wrestling. The NWA, represented by Ronquillo, NWA president R. Bruce Tharpe and current NWA World Heavyweight Champion Rob Conway, have twice visited Japan in April and June, where Conway has defended his championship against top IWGP talent. “We are really excited about bringing these two international superstars to the NWA and Texas,” Ronquillo says. “Our working relationship with New Japan Pro Wrestling continues to grow and this is just the beginning. We hope to announce more soon. Bruce Tharpe and I have the utmost respect for the New Japan Pro Wrestling front office, their staff and incredible talent roster.” More information, when available, will be posted atwww.nwaringside.com as well as www.facebook.com/nationalwrestlingalliance.
