Urijah Faber Announces His Retirement

Urijah Faber, who was 33-10 in MMA and 9-6 in the UFC, announced he will be retiring from UFC and MMA after his December 17th UFC on FOX 22 fight vs Brad Pickett, coming to an end in his hometown of Sacramento, CA.

This will be the 44th fight for the 37 year old, who debuted back in 2003. Faber, a former WEC Featherweight Champion, holds the record for most wins in the UFC bantamweight division with 9, but also holds the record for most losses in title fights with 7. He last fought at UFC 203 in September, losing to Jimmie Rivera by unanimous decision.
