-- On Thursday night, the first WWE TV taping of NXT: Season Six took place at Full Sail University in Florida. WWE is expected to return to Full Sail seven times over the next six months to tape NXT6 episodes. Before the taping began, Triple H announced to the live audience that the show will be seen internationally. According to the Orlando Sentinel, plans for airing season six in the US "are not yet known." On Thursday, Jim Ross noted on his Twitter account that he does not believe the show will continue airing online. The Orlando Sentinel's video report can be seen at OrlandoSentinel.com.

-- Bobby "The Brain" Heenan is scheduled to appear at the NWA Legends Fanfest in Charlotte, NC, to sign autographs and take photos. The fanfest will take place from August 2-5. Heenan's date and time as a guest of TMart Promotions has not yet been announced.

-- A new women's promotion from Sal Hamaoui and Dave Prazak is expected to debut on July 20 in Ybor City, Florida. The promotion will be a sister to Prazak's SHIMMER. Since SHIMMER only tapes DVDs a few weekends a year, the idea behind the sister promotion is to give new talent a chance to work. The monthly shows will bridge the time between the SHIMMER tapings. The company is currently assembling their talent roster, and all of their events will be streamed via Internet Pay-Per-View on WWNLive.com. Former WCW and TNA star Daffney and Lexie Fyfe are heavily involved in this new promotion. An official announcement – which will include the name for the promotion – is expected to be released in the near future.
