– The reason that WWE is putting Daniel Bryan on the Money in the Bank pre-show rather than the actual pay-per-view is to try to hook people into buying the PPV or subscribing to the WWE Network.
With the pre-show being free on Facebook, WWE.com and other outlets they need something big to lead into the show.
The idea is to have a big angle happen on the pre-show that makes you want to go ahead and pay to see what else is going to happen on the PPV later that night.
