As previously reported here on eWN, Paul Heyman, Bubba Ray Dudley, Taz and Tommy Dreamer were all backstage at Tuesday night’s WWE SmackDown Live! TV tapings. According to reports, Corey Graves hosted a roundtable discussion on the original Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) promotion with the talents listed above.
WWE has now confirmed that an ECW special will air following this Monday WWE RAW broadcast on the WWE Network. The special is titled “The Authentic Untold Story of ECW” and will be hosted by Corey Graves. Here is the official synopsis for the show:
“Go beyond extreme and join the unrivaled Paul Heyman for a unique look at ECW, featuring Tommy Dreamer, The Dudley Boyz, and Tazz!”
As Andy noted earlier, a new episode of “Unfiltered With Renee Young” featuring Becky Lynch will air Wednesday at 4 PM EST while WWE NXT airs on Wednesday at 8 PM EST.
