WWE Cruiserweight Classic competitor Anthony Bennett reportedly twisted his knee during a match with Tony Nese at last week’s Cruiserweight Classic taping. There is no word on how serious the injury is as of this writing.
EVOLVE President and booker Gabe Sapolsky tweeted the following on Monday, revealing that there will be Cruiserweight Classic “showcase matches” at EVOLVE’s live events in July and August:
