Welcome to WWE NXT. We kick things off with the following match.
Non-Title Match: Samoa Joe vs. Rhyno.
They brawl to begin the match. Rhyno landed some big chops in the corner. Joe tossed him down and worked over Rhyno’s right shoulder. Rhyno fought out with right hands and missed the Gore. Joe with some kicks and chops. Joe followed it up with a chokeslam then locked in the rear-naked choke for the win.
Winner: Joe.
American Alpha walked out to the ring and Authors of Pain ran down after them and attacked them. A brawl broke out inside of the ring. The match then starts.
Tag Team Match: The Authors of Pain vs. American Alpha.
Jordan hit an arm drag, and then Jordan and Gable double teamed one of the AOP members. AOP then got some quick tags and beat down the now legal Gable. Moments later, Gable got the hot tag to Jordan and Jordan started suplexing both members of AOP. Gable was tagged in and hit a fisherman suplex. AOP went for their tag team finisher, but Jordan pulled one of them out. Gable locked in the ankle lock to the other member of AOP. Jordan took out the AOP member outside the ring with a dive. The AOP member in the ring slammed Gable into the ring apron and sent Jordan head first into the steel steps. AOP hit their finisher in the ring on Gable for the win.
Winners: AOP.
Note: The announcers did not say the individual names of the Authors of Pain.
The Revival cut a promo backstage about retaining their Tag Team Titles over American Alpha. They also mocked Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa and thought that they weren’t real challengers. Gargano and Ciampa walked up and told them “tick tock tick tock.”
Singles Match: Austin Aries vs. Patrick Clark
Aries beat him down in the corner and hit a clothesline. Aries locked in the Last Chancery for the win.
Winner: Aries.
Post-match, No Way Jose ran down and attack Aries. A brawl broke out, and Aries ran to the back.
Singles Match: Bayley vs. Nia Jax.
Bayley and Jax start brawling. Jax sent her face first into the turnbuckle and then out of the ring. Bayley got back into the ring and sent her into the turnbuckle. Jax threw her across the ring.
We’re back from break with Jax hitting a suplex to Bayley. Jax caught Bayley and hit a backbreaker for 2. Bayley fights back with a series of kicks and knee strikes. Bayley hit a crossbody off the top rope for 2. Jax with a running knee to the body of Bayley and hit a jackhammer for 2. Jax went to the top rope and Bayley hit the Belly-To-Bayley suplex off the middle rope for the win.
Winner: Bayley.
Bayley celebrated in the ring to close the show.
