– Heath Slater suffered a cut over his right eye during his match with Titus O’Neil at Saturday’s WWE live event in Bangor, ME. The injury happened when the two collided mid-ring, sending Titus crashing to the mat and leaving Heath hunched over. The referee immediately threw the X and pulled gloves from his pocket. A doctor came out, and the match was stopped.
WWE ringside physician Dr. Stephen Daquino told WWE.com that “Heath has a six-centimeter laceration above his right eye. It was quite open, right down to the bone. He got 18 sutures and hopefully that will close it up.”
– Alicia Fox returned to the ring on Saturday night at the WWE live event in Bangor, ME at the Cross Insurance Center. Fox wrestled Charlotte at the event.
