Afa Anoa’i Jr., best known for his appearances with WWE in the late 2000s under the ring name Manu, knows a thing or two about what it means to be part of The Bloodline.

The Bloodline currently boasts six members – Roman Reigns, The Usos, Solo Sikoa, Sami Zayn, and Paul Heyman. While Zayn may not exactly be part of the Anoa’i family, his dedication towards the faction and devotion to The Tribal Chief has earned him the prestigious title of “Honorary Uce” in WWE.

While speaking to Bill Apter for Sportskeeda, Manu weighed in on Zayn’s involvement in The Bloodline. The former Superstar said,

“Yeah, yeah. I’m okay with it, you know. I’m okay with it, because at the end of the day, he’s just an honorary Uce. It’s not like he’s coming out and being portrayed as an Uce, or an Uso. He’s not saying he’s hailing from the isle of Samoa. He’s just having his [fun].”

Manu noted that things may get out of hand if Zayn attempts to take it a step further. He said,

“Oh, if does then we’ll have heat. Yeah, then we’ll have heat.”

Manu discussed Zayn’s goofy nature and how a good joke can be a great way of getting over with the WWE Universe. He continued,

“Yeah he needs to — it’s not always a joke that he makes it out to be, you know? But at the end of the day, he’s just trying, I guess trying to get over, you know what I mean? Like, it’s hard to get over when the Samoans are in the ring. Trust me, it’s really hard to do that. Because we’re shining. We’re shining.”

Before signing off, Manu teased the possibility of a potential WWE return and aligning himself with The Bloodline. He said,

“Well, I like to say that I’m in the prime of my career. So anything is possible, and you know what they say. Anything can happen in the World Wrestling Federation.”
