Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s upcoming film for Amazon Studios, originally dubbed Red One, has begun production.
According to Deadline.com, the movie began production today. The film features Chris Evans and Johnson, J.K. Simmons and Bonnie Hunt will play Mrs. Claus and Santa Claus respectively in the cast.
The film will be produced in 2022, and a holiday release in 2023 is planned.
The film will be made by The Rock, Dany Garcia, and Hiram Garcia from Seven Bucks Productions and Amazon Studios, while Chris Morgan will produce and handle the writing.
