DUI Hit & Run Trial Set For Van Hammer – Details

Former WCW wrestler Van Hammer was charged for a DUI hit-and-run involving a five year old child. His case is set to go to trail this Summer. According to PWInsider, Hammer (Mark Hildreth), pleaded not guilty on the charges with a pre-trial hearing set for June 10th in Palm Beach County Court.

The former WCW star was taken into custody in late January after his car allegedly struck a five year-old boy in Boynton Beach, Florida. The boy survived with various injuries. Van Hammer allegedly got out of the car and said the boy jumped out in front of him before he drove away. He was later arrested and charged with a D.U.I. along with felony hit and run with failure to stop in a crash involving others and serious bodily injuries, and leaving the scene of an injury crash.
