Impact Wrestling (4/3) Results: Angle vs. Lashley, Roode vs. Young & MORE!

Welcome to Impact Wrestling, we are shown a hype video package hyping tonight’s matches. Angle vs. Lashley, Magnus vs. Bram and Roode vs. Young. All that and more.

We get a shot of the crowd overly excited as Josh Mathews ran down the show.

Eric Young is in the ring and cuts a promo about how he puts the final chapter in the career of Bobby Roode. EY said that tonight history is made, he writes the final chapter of Bobby Roode. He repeated himself over over by the way. Roode made his way down to the stage, he starts cutting a promo about how history is written by winners. He said that EY cost him his World title, he tried to end his career, but since then, he has beaten EY in a steel cage and made damn sure he is the last man standing. He said that he will make sure that this story ends forever. EY said that he will do whatever it takes to make Roode tapout. He will break Bobby Roode. However, Roode countered and said that if EY wants a submission match then he gets it. He said that he will not tap, but he will make Roode tapout.

Submission Match: Bobby Roode vs. Eric Young

Roode ran down to the ring and started brawling with EY. Roode threw him to the floor, he sent EY into the barricade to further give EY the beating that he deserves. Back in the ring, EY put the boots to Roode. Roode reversed an irish whip and sent EY nuts first on the top rope. Roode with a drop kick sending EY to the floor. Roode locked in the crossface on the rampway, but let go and sent EY back into the ring. Roode landed wrong on his left knee, it buckled. Roode off the middle rope and hit a neck breaker. EY landed a big boot out of the corner, but ran at Roode and Roode hit a spinebuster.

-Commercial Break-

We’re back with EY throwing Roode off the middle rope. EY locked in a leg submission. EY went after the injured left leg of Roode for the next few minutes. Roode fought back and locked in a boston crab. EY got to the ropes to break the hold. EY sent Roode to the floor, EY then bounced Roode’s face off the ring steps. EY sent Roode’s left leg into the steel steps. Back in the ring, EY locked in the figure four leg lock, but Roode rolled over and broke the hold. EY went for it again, but Roode pushed EY into the referee. Roode locked in the crossface, EY tapped out, but the referee is down. Roode checked on him, but when he turned around, EY hit a heel kick and locked in the figure four leg lock that made Roode Tapout.

Winner: EY.

We see Lashley and Angle arriving at the building.

-Commercial Break-

The Wolves make their way down to the ring with Eddie Edwards on crutches. Edwards cuts a promo about how they like to push the limit and announced that he landed wrong on his foot. He said that he broke his heel. The Wolves said that they would have to relinquish the Tag Team Titles. However, they promised that they would return and get those titles back!

Bobby Lashley cut a backstage promo about how tonight he will regain his TNA World Heavyweight Title tonight! He said that they will have a war tonight.

-Commercial Break-

Angelina Love cuts a promo about how she loves how she looks because she is blessed. She said that she is a great wrestler, she is a six-time Knockouts Champion. She said that she is so tired of hearing how great Gail Kim is. She said that she will prove that she is as good as Kim.

Singles Match: Gail Kim vs. Angelina Love

Love with a cheap shot right hand. Love with a crossbody off the ropes for a near fall. Love went for a hip toss, but Kim countered with an arm drag. Kim with a flurry of kicks and then a drop kick. Kim with a right hand, she bounced off the ropes and went for a move, but caught and Love hit a sidewalk slam for a near fall. Love hit a back breaker to further damage the back of Kim. Moments later, Kim fought back and landed a clothesline. Kim with arm breaker. Kim hit a spear in the corner, she went to the top rope and hit a drop kick for a near fall. Kim went for eat defeat, but Love blocked. Kim went for a springboard move, but it was botched and Love pinned her for a 2 count. Love with the Botox injection. Kim put her foot on the bottom rope to break the pin. Love missed it again and Kim hit Eat Defeat for the win.

Winner: Gail Kim.

There is a James Storm with his Revolution trying to recruit for other men to his cult while standing in the woods.

There is a video package to recap the bad blood between Bram and Magnus.

Falls Count Anywhere Match: Bram vs. Magnus

The two men start brawling in the ring. Magnus sent Bram over the top rope and went for a baseball slide, but Bram moved. Magnus kicked him in the face instead. They brawled up towards the stage, Magnus went for a pile-driver, but BRam nailed a low blow to counter. Bram hit a powerslam to Magnus on the stage. The two men brawled down to the ring and when back in the ring, Magnus hit a right hand followed by a drop kick off the middle rope. Bram countered with a heel kick for a near fall. Bram rolled out of the ring, grabbed a steel chair and hit Magnus with it. Bram sent Magnus into the ropes, but Magnus reversed and nailed a clothesline to Bram. This leads us to break.

-Commercial Break-

We’re back with Bram landing some big right hands to the face of Magnus. They exchange right hands, Magnus off the middle rope with a DDT. Mickie James ran down to the ring and started cheering on Magnus. Magnus told her to get to the back, Bram hit Magnus with a steel chair. Bram put Magnus on the steel steps, he went after Mickie James. James Storm ran down to the ring and stopped him. Storm walked her to the back, Bram talked trash from the ring and Magnus hit a big boot to Bram. Magnus with a clothesline, then a back suplex for a near fall. Bram fought back and nailed Magnus with a DDT on a steel chair. Bram kicked the chair out of the ring, Magnus popped up and hit Bram with his finisher for the win.

Winner: Magnus

Kurt Angle cut a backstage promo about how their first match was a dream match. He said that he trained for that match and this match more than he did for the olympics. He said that no one is better than Kurt Angle.

-Commercial Break-

Magnus went to confront James Storm, Magnus wanted to know why Storm helped out Mickie. Storm just said that he was looking out for an old friend.

TNA World Heavyweight Title Match: Kurt Angle © vs. Bobby Lashley

A slow start to this one, a lot of headlocks between both men. Lashley hit a spear in the corner to Angle. Lashley with a bear hug to Angle, he then put Angle in the corner and started throwing kicks to the midsection of Angle. Lashley threw Angle into the corner, but Angle sent Lashley over the top rope to the floor. Back in the ring, Lashley countered an Irish whip and hit a powerslam for a near fall. Lashley missed a spear and Angle hit a belly to belly suplex. Angle with a few German suplexes to Lashley. Angle went for the Angle slam and nailed it for a near fall. Angle pulled down the straps, he locked in the ankle lock, but Lashley rolled through and sent Angle to the floor. Lashley sent Angle shoulder first into the steel steps. Back in the ring, Lashley hit a powerslam, then set up for the spear, Lashley hit it for a near fall. Angle is starting to bleed from the back of his head. Lashley puts Angle on the top rope, but Angle countered and hit a suplex off the top rope. Angle went to the top rope and missed a moonsault. Lashley went for the ankle lock, but Angle rolled through and rolled up Lashley for the win.

Winner and STILL CHAMP: Angle

That might have been one of the worst roll ups of all time. Lashley had one shoulder up, his legs straight up in the air.
