Impact Wrestling starts off with the first match in the Round of 16 tournament.

Singles Match: EC3 w/Tyrus vs. DJ Z

EC3 mocks Z early on. They tie up and Z gets a rollup, but doesn’t get the three-count. He tries a backslide, but is kneed in the gut after failing to score the win. Z connects with a baseball slide. He hits a crossbody inside the ring.

Finally EC3 gains control. He gets in a headlock. Z gets to his feet, but is slammed back down. Z goes high risk and hits a dropkick. He follows it up with an atomic drop and a neckbreaker. Z connects with a DDT, but doesn’t get the win.

Z gets raked in the eyes, but he lands a hurricanrana. He tries for it again, but this time EC3 nails him with a sitout powerbomb. He follows it up with the One Percenter to move on to the Round of Eight.

Winner: EC3

Gail Kim says she’s always been vocal about the Knockouts and their place in professional wrestling. She says she respects Tigre Uno, but she will prove she is in the Round of 16 to win it all.

-Commercial Break-

Singles Match: Gail Kim vs. Tigre Uno

Uno hesitates as the match begins. Kim tries to sneak a win with a schoolboy, but Uno kicks out and continues to hesitate. A solid kick to the ribs from Kim changed Uno’s mind. Uno gets in a headlock before shoulder blocking Kim down to the mat.

Kim gets a big crossbody on her opponent. She goes for Eat Defeat, but Uno locks in his standing submission. Kim reverses into a sunset flip, but can’t get the three-count. Kim gets in her own submission with a head scissors, but Uno dumps her to the outside. Uno hits a plancha on Kim.

On the outside, Kim uses the ring post to lock in a Figure Four Leglock. Kim goes for Eat Defeat again, but Uno lifts her up. The X Division champion reverses a sunset flip for his own pin to move on to the Round of Eight.

Winner: Tigre Uno

-Commercial Break-

Singles Match: Davey Richards vs. Bram

Bram throws Richards across the ring to let him know who has the power advantage. Richards goes for the arm, but Bram shoves him off and starts hammering away in the corner. Bram runs his forearm across the face of his opponent.

The two brawl on the outside. Bram rushes, but Richards gets a drop toehold and Bram’s head crashes into the steps. Richards hits the double foot stomp from the ring apron. He hits a missile dropkick back in the ring, followed by an exploder suplex.

Bram plants Richards to the mat. He goes for the Brighter Side of Suffering, but Richards reverses into a small package to advance to the Round of Eight.

Winner: Davey Richards

Eli Drake calls Shera an idiot and says he’s in for a long night when they get in the ring.

-Commercial Break-

A video package showcasing Shera’s run in the World Title Series is played.

Singles Match: Mahabali Shera vs. Eli Drake

Drake rakes Shera’s eyes in the corner and chops away. Shera gets a clothesline and a big hip toss. He hits a scoop slam, followed by a clothesline to the outside. He proceeds to dance with Drake reeling on the outside.

Back in the ring, Drake wobbles Shera momentarily. He goes up the top turnbuckle, but Shera sends him crashing to the mat. He takes advantage by connecting with the Sky High to advance to the Round of Eight.

Winner: Mahabali Shera

Backstage, Matt Hardy calls Bobby Roode the cornerstone of TNA. He says he’s on a journey to regain his world title and Roode won’t stop him.

-Commercial Break-

Singles Match: Bobby Roode vs. Matt Hardy

Roode works the arm of Hardy early. Hardy fights out of a headlock and earns a hip toss. He sends Roode down with a shoulder block and then connects with a clothesline. Roode has to take a breather on the outside.

Roode locks in a crossface back in the ring. Hardy reaches the bottom rope and the referee breaks the hold. Roode has been attacking the shoulder of Hardy all match. Roode runs right into a Side Effect and kicks out at two.

Once again, Roode gets in the crossface. Hardy reverses it into a pin and Roode kicks out. Roode goes high risk, but Hardy counters with a Twist of Fate to move on to the Round of Eight.

Winner: Matt Hardy

Drew Galloway says he has steamrolled his opponents in the World Title Series. He calls Lashley an obstacle and says he will prove tonight that he is the best.

-Commercial Break-

With Awesome Kong and Jessie Godderz in the ring, Godderz claims Kong is only in the Impact Zone to touch his body. He offers a kiss to Kong. She responds with a punch to the jaw.

Singles Match: Awesome Kong vs. Jessie Godderz

Kong launches Godderz with a huge hip toss. Godderz loses his cool and kicks the turnbuckle. He charges at Kong and misses a splash in the corner. Kong slams him to the mat with three scoop slams.

Kong misses a splash to the mat. Godderz pins Kong by grabbing a hold of the tights. He moves on to the Round of Eight.

Winner: Jessie Godderz

-Commercial Break-

Singles Match: Eric Young vs. Kenny King

King arm drags EY and gets in a brief submission. King leaps over his opponent and gets a drop toehold. EY fights out of a headlock, but gets dropkicked in the corner. King lands a big running back elbow. EY sends King over the top rope and to the outside.

King connects with a spinning kick to the back of EY. He goes for a schoolboy, but EY kicks out. King lands a spinebuster, but once again falls short of a three-count. King goes for the Royal Flush, but EY grabs a hold of the referee to break free. He capitalizes with the Piledriver to advance to the Round of Eight.

Winner: Eric Young

A video package is shown hyping up Lashley vs. Drew Galloway.

-Commercial Break-

EY claims no one can stop him. He says all the momentum is on his side. He says he can hear the moment he wins the world title.

Singles Match: Lashley vs. Drew Galloway

The two are aggressive early with Lashley showing off his muscle. Lashley drops down and brings Galloway to the mat. He goes for a rear naked choke, but Galloway reaches the bottom rope. Galloway tries to outmuscle Lashley and it just isn’t working.

-Commercial Break-

Galloway puts his boots up to thwart Lashley’s charge in the corner. Galloway goes high risk and connects with a clothesline. He then sends his opponent to the outside. Galloway goes after Lashley and chops his chest. Lashley responds by throwing him to the ring steps.

Back in the ring, Lashley hits the stalling vertical suplex. Galloway sends Lashley to the ring post. He then hits an armbreaker. Galloway and Lashley exchange punches in the center of the ring. Lashley ducks a clothesline and lands a German suplex followed by a belly to belly.

Galloway ducks a clothesline and hits a neckbreaker for just a two-count. Galloway lifts Lashley and hits White Noise. Galloway goes for Claymore, but runs right into the Spear. Lashley moves on to the Round of Eight.

Winner: Lashley
