Impact Wrestling Results For November 11th, 2015: EC3 vs. Mr. Anderson

Following a recap of last week’s episode, Madison Rayne says she has a special training regimen for Gail Kim. She mocks Kim’s gimmick and does her own ninja training.

Singles Match: Gail Kim vs. Madison Rayne

They tie up in the beginning and Rayne escapes danger in the corner. Kim goes for a backdrop, but Rayne holds on for a headlock. The two exchange pins, but neither are able to secure a three-count. Kim lands a drop toehold, but is unable to capitalize on it and is slammed on the mat following a pin attempt.

-Commercial Break-

Kim ducks a clothesline and head scissors Rayne to the corner. Kim goes for a crossbody, but Rayne moves out of the way, and Kim goes flying through the middle rope and clashes with the cameraman. Rayne looks to take advantage with a kick from the apron, but Kim sends her crashing to the ring steps.

Back in the ring, Kim has a dragon sleeper, but Rayne reverses it into the Rayne Check. She takes too long to recover, and Kim kicks out at two. Rayne goes for her finisher again, but Kim reverses it into a small package and wins for three more points.

Winner: Gail Kim

-Commercial Break-

Gail Kim has officially advanced to the Round of 16 along with Matt Hardy. Speaking of Matt, he is being interviewed by Josh Matthews and The Pope. Matt says he’s happy to qualify in the Round of 16, but there was never a time where he doubted himself. Matt says life is too short to have regrets, so he’s not hurting over relinquishing the TNA world title.

Eli Drake reminds us of the roundtable a few weeks back with the Future 4 group. He says Godderz will pay for his insults. Godderz responds by saying while Drake could find himself on a milk carton; he’d be on the cover of a cereal box.

Singles Match: Eli Drake vs. Jesse Godderz

Godderz takes down Drake quickly, but Drake reverses and slips out. Drake extends his hand to Godderz, he accepts, and both men try cheap shots. They get in each other’s face, and Godderz can’t stop admiring his own body.

The two engage in a test of strength and Drake gets in a knee to the body. Godderz returns the favor with his own knee and hits a northern lights suplex for a two-count. Drake begins targeting the knee of his opponent.

Both men exchange pins by holding the tights. Godderz gets in a pin holding the ropes, but the referee thwarts it. Drake gets the final pin by putting his feet on the ropes. Drake now has three points in the series.

Winner: Eli Drake

Footage of EC3 arriving at the TNA offices earlier this week airs. EC3 says he’s delivering a fine for his actions at Bound for Glory personally.

-Commercial Break-

Eli Drake says Godderz’s flexing did nothing for him tonight. He calls the cameraman stupid.

Singles Match: Matt Hardy vs. Eddie Edwards

The two engage in a battle of wrist locks. Later on, Matt hits ricochet with Edwards perched on the middle rope.

-Commercial Break-

Matt clotheslines Edwards twice in the corner and hits a bulldog. Edwards throws Matt to the outside and knocks him off the ring apron. Edwards then connects with a suicide dive. Matt goes for a side effect on the ring apron, but Edwards hits an enzugiri and plants Matt with a DDT on the apron.

The two battle on the top turnbuckle. Matt is thrown off, but he rushes back and nails his opponent with a Twist of Fate for the victory and now has nine points in the series.

Winner: Matt Hardy

EC3 is walking through the TNA offices and says the pictures hanging on the wall are of men he’s beaten. EC3 tells Dixie Carter he might as well be robbed in person. Dixie questions what’s happened to EC3. She says she loves him, but the family doesn’t recognize him anymore. EC3 says he will be TNA world champion again.

-Commercial Break-

Matt Hardy says Eddie Edwards is like an old school brawler. He says Edwards made it hard for him to find success in the ring tonight and he respects him.

Singles Match: DJ Z vs. Mandrews

Mandrews leaps over DJ Z and hits an atomic drop. He arm drags DJ Z to the outside. Mandrews lands a moonsault off the ring steps. He leaps over the top rope and lands on DJ Z on the outside.

DJ Z sends his opponent crashing to the mat with a back elbow. He keeps Mandrews grounded with a chin lock. DJ Z eventually goes for a tornado DDT, but Mandrews stops it. Mandrews lands a thunderous hurricanrana for a two-count.

Mandrews goes for a shooting star press, but his gut hits DJ Z’s knees. DJ Z takes advantage with a small package for the win and now has a total of six points in the series.

-Commercial Break-

When we return, we are greeted to a training video of Mahabali Shera. Afterward, Eric Young is interviewed by Josh Matthews. He says Matthews is lucky he’s not an active wrestler or else he’d have a broken neck. EY says after his match with James Storm next week; no one will hear from him again.

Singles Match: Micah vs. Crimson

They just showed highlights of the match. Micah won the match and now has four points in the series.

Footage of EC3 in India from two weeks ago airs. He claims to be the face of Impact Wrestling. He says Mr. Anderson will not play the role of spoiler.

-Commercial Break-

Drew Galloway reminds us he is two for two in the world title series. He says the reason he’s been in America for years is to realize his dream. He calls the TNA world title his destiny.

Singles Match: EC3 vs. Mr. Anderson

EC3 chops Anderson in the corner, but Anderson counters and returns the favor. Anderson sends the former TNA world champion to the outside as we head into a commercial break.

-Commercial Break-

Anderson chops EC3’s chest on the outside. Back in the ring, Anderson goes to town on EC3 with punches in the full mount position. Anderson hits a baseball slide on Tyrus. Anderson connects with the Green Bay Plunge on the top turnbuckle, but Tyrus saves EC3 from getting pinned.

With one minute to go, Anderson takes out Tyrus with a chair. As referee Earl Hebner took the chair out of the ring, EC3 hit a low blow. EC3’s One Percenter is reversed, but EC3 counters the Mic Check with a jackknife hold for the three-count and seven total points.

Winner: EC3
