Welcome to Impact, we see Austin Aries arriving at the building. Also, we get a hype video package about Bully Ray putting Dixie Carter through a table. He promises that he will put her through a table!
Bobby Roode comes out for his match, but MVP never appears. We go backstage and MVP is refusing to go out there. Kurt Angle tells him and then we see Roode run to the back. MVP and Angle argue then out of nowhere, Roode attacks MVP. A brawl breaks out backstage, they eventually make their way out to the arena.

MVP throws a drink in the face of Roode and then a chair shot to the gut. MVP misses a big boot and get’s caught up on the barricade. Roode shakes it up and down, then a big right hand. MVP lands a big low blow and then sends him face first into the steel post. MVP covers for a 2 count. MVP goes for a suplex on the ramp, but blocked and Roode hits one of his own. Kenny King comes out and breaks up a pin attempt. Out to make the save is Eric Young. He runs King off to the back. Roode counters an irish whip and hits a clothesline. MVP sends Roode face first into the steel steps and then into the ring. MVP grabs a chair, he hits Roode in the gut and then the back. MVP taunts the crowd and continues to hit Roode with the chair. The crowd get’s behind Roode, MVP tries to hit a big boot, but Roode moves and takes out the bad leg of MVP. Roode grabs the chair and goes right after the bad leg. Roode locks in the sharpshooter and MVP taps!
We are shown a recap video of Bobby Lashley beating Jeff Hardy to retain the title. Hardy is making his way out to the ring next!
We are shown last weeks ending to Impact! when Team 3D reunite and put EC3 through a table. Dixie Carter is shown in the back getting ready. She is here to support her family. She says tonight she will make a promise and that is she will be standing over Bully Ray’s dead body.
Jeff Hardy comes out with a limp. He says that the people wanted Jeff Hardy back and that is what he did. He said Willow would be back which got boos from the crowd. Hardy says let’s talk about the future, he says he brought someone with him tonight and that someone will be a part of TNA’s future. We want Matt chants breakout, Hardy says that that someone, is his brother Matt Hardy! He comes out to a mix reaction. A welcome back chant breaks out. Matt says that he loves the NYC fans. He thanks Jeff for him to be here and he is so happy to be back right here in TNA! Matt says that they wanted to be tag team champions, Matt says he had to step away to get help and he did just that. He says he felt like he let Jeff down and the fans as well. Matt says he could come out apologizing and now actions speak louder than words. The moment is right and he thinks they should be tag champs once again. Matt says he can’t think of a better place to be the best again and he wants a match against the Wolves. Que the music, here comes out the champions. Eddie Edwards says that the Hardy’s wanting to be champions again, and the Wolves want to prove that they are the best. Therefore, they have to beat the Hardy boyz. Davey lays the challenge down, Destination X, The Wolves Vs. The Hardy’s, it’s on!
